Kevin Thelwell explains Jack Harrison deal as 'confident' Everton transfer claim made
Everton confirmed the signing of Jack Harrison from Leeds United on Monday
Kevin Thelwell has revealed Jack Harrison was one of Everton’s "main targets" heading into the summer transfer window and spoke of his delight after landing the winger.
Everton boosted their attacking options by completing a season-long loan deal for Harrison on Monday. Harrison joins from Leeds United following their relegation to the Sky Bet Championship.
The 26-year-old underwent a medical on Sunday, and although he is sidelined with a hip injury that could keep the player out for another month, the Blues, however, were happy to progress with the transfer.
And reacting to the transfer, Thelwell has backed Harrison to "have a real impact" at Everton and spoke of his delight at being able to land one of the club’s main targets heading into the summer.

"Jack has been one of our main targets this summer, and we are delighted to have brought him to Everton," he told evertonfc.com.
"He was eager to sign for us, and we are confident he can have a real impact on our team once he recovers from his minor injury in the next few weeks.
"Jack is a clever footballer who brings pace, technical ability, goals, and assists, which, combined with his work ethic, makes him an excellent addition to our squad."
Harrison became Everton's fourth signing of the summer after Ashley Young, Arnaut Danjuma and Youssef Chermiti all joined ahead of the start of the club's Premier League season against Fulham last Saturday. The ECHO understands that Everton are still working on further strengthening Sean Dyche's squad, and more departures cannot be ruled out.
