GLEN KAMARA is closing in on a £5.5million move to Leeds United.
The Yorkshire club have stepped up their efforts in the last 24 hours to land the Rangers midfielder.
Elland Road boss Daniel Farke has been chasing Kamara all summer and is desperate to bring him on board.
But, frontrunners Leeds still face late competition from fellow Championship rivals Middlesbrough and Coventry City.
All three have held talks with Kamara’s representatives in recent days as he heads towards the Ibrox exit door.
Negotiations are now at an advanced stage with Rangers set to make a bumper profit on the Finnish international.

The 27-year-old was signed from Dundee for just £50,000 by Steven Gerrard in January 2019.
Kamara was a key player under Gerrard but has fallen down the pecking order since Micheal Beale took charge.
The playmaker was told to stay away from the club this summer while his future was being sorted out.
However, Kamara is now back training at Rangers’ Auchenhowie base.
