Glen Kamara on verge of Rangers exit as exiled star 'nears' £5.5m Leeds United transfer

The 27-year-old has been on the outside looking at Ibrox this summer and now a permanent solution nears.

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is reportedly closing in on a £5.5million transfer to long-time admirers Leeds United.

The 27-year-old has been on the outside looking at Ibrox this summer with boss Michael Beale admitting his time at the club was nearing the end. And now the Finland international is poised for a move to Elland Road. The Scottish Sun state Kamara's representatives have also held talks with Middlesbrough and Coventry City but Leeds are the favourites to seal a move for the man who joined the Ibrox side for a £100,000 snip in January 2019.

Kamara was a key contributor under Steven Gerrard but has found himself a bit-part player before being left in reserve over the summer with the emergence of Nico Raskin and the arrival of Jose Cifuentes from LAFC. And now Kamara's time at Ibrox will end and a significant fee to be garnered for a player with two years remaining on his current deal.
