Sean Dyche has been reserved in revealing when summer signing Youssef Chermiti will make his Everton debut.

The 19-year-old penned a four-year deal at Goodison Park this month after arriving from Portuguese giants Sporting CP. However, Chermiti has yet to feature in any of the Blues' opening two Premier League encounters.

With the facial injury to Domnic Calvert-Lewin set to keep him out of Everton's clash with Wolves at Goodison Park on Saturday, striking options are limited for Dyche as he and his side look for their first win of the season after suffering disappointment against Fulham and Aston Villa.

However, the Blues boss refused to be drawn on when supporters will get their first glimpse of the £12.5m recruit.

"He's only just getting with us. He's training hard, getting up to full speed, full fitness, inner fitness. He's going along well," said Dyche of Chermiti during his press conference on Thursday.

During an exchange with a reporter, the former Burnley boss was probed on whether he knows when Chermiti will be introduced to Everton fans and if he would reveal when.

However, Dyche bluntly replied "yes" and "no" respectively.

The Blues have three games, two in the Premier League, until action in the English top-flight is put on hold for the first international break of the season.

Wolves provide the first obstacle before trips to Doncaster Rovers - in the Carabao Cup - and Sheffield United beckon.
