Neal Maupay, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Andre Gomes are among the other players on the fringe of the first team that Everton could be willing to consider approaches for, while interest in Tom Cannon also remains high and the arrival of Beto could pave the way for him to continue his development away from Finch Farm after his success on loan at Preston North End last season.

Southampton attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana wants to leave, according to The Athletic.

The Saints, however, are not prepared to let their January signing go unless his £30m release clause is met.

Clubs have already made offers including an option for a permanent transfer but Russell Martin's side has rejected the approaches.

Everton are seeking a winger and are interested, as per the report. However a move relies upon possible departures of Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray.

French side Nice have had an approach rejected previously, Lille and Marseille are also said to be interested.

REVEALED: The Everton third kit for 2023/24

Everton and Hummel have revealed the third kit for the 2023/24 season.

The Blues will line-up in a modern take of a unique design from the Danish manufacturer, which will see them wear grey for the first time since the 2017/18 season.

The third kit is a pinstriped design with contrasting grey tones, white base and traditional Everton blue. Grey shorts compliment the kit, with blue and white chevrons, plus grey socks with a blue, chevron trim. An eye-catching feature sees the illustrious badge replaced by Prince Rupert's Tower Logo.

Similarly with the away kit, the third strip sees a v-neckline with modern shoulder chevrons, synonymous with Hummel. A retro 'EFC' logo features on the neckline on the back of the shirt.

The goalkeeper shirt follows a design pattern as the home and away version, paying homage to the relationship between St Luke's Church and Goodison Park.

Hummel are celebrating their 100th year, this year, and as part of Everton's alternative strip, one of the brand's most famous designs has been recreated - Denmark's 1986 World Cup kit.

Beto first words

Beto expressed his hapiness at signing for Everton on Tuesday, insisting it was an "easy move" to make.

The Blues were long-term admirers of the Portuguese striker and finally got their man after submitting an offer deemed acceptable by Udinese.

Speaking for the first time after arriving on Merseyside, Beto said:

“It feels good to join Everton. I have always appreciated them as a club. Everton is a big, big club in the Premier League, well respected and has big history. It was easy to make this move.

When a club like Everton tries to buy you in January and then comes again in the summer, you feel like, 'Okay, they want me for real', so that made the decision easy for me as well. My idol, Samuel Eto’o, played here, too, which makes it even more special."
