Welcome to the Liverpool Echo's transfer Deadline Day live blog covering all things Everton.
The Toffees have added Ashley Young, Youssef Chermiti and Beto to the squad on permanent deals, while Arnaut Danjuma and Jack Harrison have come in on loan.
However, with the team languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table, there is a feeling more incomings may be needed if the Blues are to steer clear of another relegation scrap this season.
The likes of Maxwel Cornet, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Wilfried Gnonto continue to be linked with possible arrivals. In terms outgoings, Alex Iwobi is said to be in talks with Fulham; the likes of Demarai Gray, Andre Gomes and Jean-Philippe Gbamin have also been tipped to leave the club throughout the summer window.

Everton transfer state of play
Everton are set for an intense end to the summer transfer window with the big question of the final hours being whether they can take advantage of anticipated outgoings.
Alex Iwobi and Tom Cannon are both in the advanced stages of permanent exits from the club and have travelled for medicals with Fulham and Leicester City, respectively. A late Brentford move for Neal Maupay, on what the ECHO understands would be a loan with an option to buy, is also underway while French club Lille has expressed interest in a loan deal for Demarai Gray.
Everton have been linked to potential incomings including reports of a resumed interest in Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto. The ECHO understands Leeds’ position remains as it has done throughout the summer on the Italy international however - that the club does not wish to sell him and believes it is in a strong position to rebuff interest.

Teenage striker Malik Mothersille has said his goodbyes to Chelsea but is not expected to join Everton, where he has spent time on trial.
The 19-year-old prospect has been part of the Blues’ Under-21s squad for each of its three Premier League 2 matches so far this season. He is not part of the squad that has travelled to London for its game with West Ham United on Friday night, however.
Mothersille was valued at Chelsea and the club opened talks with him about a new deal last year. They did not lead to an extension though and his contract expired this summer.
The starlet made his debut for the Everton U21s when he came off the bench for the defeat to Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League 2 campaign.
On Friday, he confirmed on social media that he was leaving Chelsea for a “new challenge”. The player did not state where that would be, but the ECHO understands Everton did not pursue a deal. Time for a new challenge.”

He was linked with a move to Everton earlier today.
Onto the next one?
Merson gives verdict on Iwobi deal
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has given his verdict on Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi's proposed move to Fulham.
Iwobi has entered the final year of his contract at the Blues, with reports suggesting that the club have agreed a £22m fee with Fulham. However, Merson has questioned the club's decision to cash in on the 27-year-old.
”I am shocked. Everton need to keep their players," Merson told Sky Sports News. “I thought Iwobi was one of their better players last season in a terrible season. For me, I’m quite shocked with that. Very shocked. Good signing for Fulham.”

Leicester boss on striker search amid Cannon move
Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca has been quizzed about his side's search for a striker as Everton forward Tom Cannon edges closer to joining the Foxes in a deal worth up to £7.5m.
Maresca initially played down suggestions that Leicester could be busy on deadline day during his press conference on Friday afternoon. However, he did admit that the club are in need of a striker, particularly with Kelechi Ihenacho and Patson Daka potentially away during AFCON later in the season, while both forwards have also been linked with late exits.
Asked about the chances of any deadline day deals, Maresca replied, “I don’t think so, to be honest because it’s almost finished. But as I’ve always said, there are still some hours, so we’ll see."
However, when pushed on the need for a striker, he admitted: "Yes, could be, especially because in January there is the AFCON competition. So it could be, we’ll see.”

Leeds 'playing hardball' over Wilfried Gnonto deal
The transfer saga surrounding Wilfried Gnonto continues to rumble on.
Everton have been linked with the young forward throuhout the summer and there have been conflicting reports over the progress of a potential deal across deadline day. Sky Sports journalist Alan Irwin has insisteed that the Leeds man remains on the club's radar but the Blues could be forced to turn to Southampton forward Sulemana.
“[Everton] are looking in wide areas and Wilfried Gnonto is definitely a target but Leeds are playing hardball," the reporter told Sky Sports News. “Leeds want to keep him.
"Everton are doing their utmost to try and prise him away and bring him here to Goodison Park. If they can’t do a deal for Gnonto then Kamaldeen Sulemana from Southampton would be a target."

Everton land possible windfall
Former Blues defender Niels Nkounkou has joined Eintracht Frankfurt, which could help boost Everton's coffers.
Nkounkou made seven appearances for Everton overall and sealed a loan switch to Saint Etienne in January. The French side made his move permanent but have opted to make an immediate proift on the left-back.
Earlier this summer, L'Equipe reported that Everton would earn 30% of any 'captain gain' the French side earn from a subsequent transfer, with Nkounkou claimed to be valued at around €10m after successful stitnt in Ligue 2.

Everton 'explore' move for another Leeds winger
Everton are said to be 'exploring' a move for another Leeds United winger.
The Toffees have already signed Jack Harrison from Elland Road this summer and have been constantly linked with a move for Italy international Wilfried Gnonto. The Daily Express states that Everton have 'reopened' talks over Gnonto and hope Leeds will 'soften their position' in the final hours of the window.
However, it is said that the Blues will consider turning their attention to his teammate Luis Sinisterra, if negotiations over Gnonto 'fail to bear fruit'. Everton are claimed to also be admirers of fellow Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville, who pushed for an exit earlier this summer.
