Football's most money-motivated player who quit Atletico for China agrees Saudi deal
Millionaire footballer Yannick Carrasco is again ready to turn his back on major European football in a bid to pocket another fortune from billionaire investors
Three years after pocketing millions in China, Yannick Carrasco is again ready to turn his back on major European competition in favour of cash.
The 29-year-old, who has made 66 appearances for Belgium, has agreed to leave Atletico Madrid for a second time following interest from Saudi Pro League outfit Al Shabab.
Carrasco had made 124 appearances for Atletico between 2015 and 2018 before spending two years in China with Dalian Yifang making another 141 in his second spell before heading off for another fortune.
Diego Simeone is ready to say goodbye to the winger yet again after money came calling, despite him scoring 10 goals in all competitions last season.

Fabrizio Romano reports that a deal worth in the region of £12million has been agreed between Atletico and Al Shabab with the Saudi window open for another week.
He added that medical tests will be swiftly completed which could allow Atletico to bring in a replacement in the final hours of the La Liga window.
Carrasco will follow a long list of stars to make the move to Saudi this summer including Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane, with links to Mohamed Salah ongoing.

Carrasco's move to China back in 2018 came when he was just 25, and he was rumoured to be earning £180,000-per-week - working out to around £19million across his two seasons.
His wages in Saudi are likely to be far higher, with Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson earning around £700k-per-week with Al-Ettifaq.
Carrasco will be hoping to find the form of his second year in China, in which he scored 17 goals across 26 appearances before the exodus of foreign stars.
Carrasco won both La Liga and the Europa League across his two spells in La Liga - and can now win the Saudi Pro League trophy he has always dreamed of.
