Luton Town are trying to bring in Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan before the transfer window slams shut on Friday night.
Luton sporting director Gary Sweet confirmed the news to Sky Sports on Friday afternoon.
The newly promoted side have brought in plenty of players but haven't broke the bank, Ryan Giles their most expensive signing at £5m.
Lokonga joined Arsenal from Anderlecht in 2021 and has made 39 appearances for Mikel Arteta's side.
The Belgian failed to make much of an impression at the Emirates before joining Crystal Palace on loan midway through last season.
