Genius Everton fan transforms Samuel Eto'o shirt after Toffees signing
Instead of buying a new shirt to celebrate the arrival of Portuguese forward Beto on Merseyside, one Everton fan decided to improvise by making changes to their old Samuel Eto'o strip
Earlier this week, Everton unveiled the signing of striker Beto from Udinese, in an effort to remedy their woes in front of goal.
The Portuguese forward arrived on Merseyside for just over £25million, and has already found the back of the net in the Blue of Everton, scoring against Doncaster Rovers in midweek on his Toffees debut.
Scoring bucket loads of goals is a decent way to endear yourself to your new fans. A good barometer of support for how Beto is viewed at Goodison Park might be by seeing his name of the backs of plenty of Toffees supporters following his arrival.
However, sometimes, fans can't always get their hands on the newest home shirt for one reason or another, forcing them to have to adapt, like one Everton supporter showed off during the Toffees 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.

Instead of buying a new shirt, with Beto's name and number 14 printed, one resourceful fan decided to alter their 2014/15 Everton home shirt which had the name of former Toffees striker Samuel Eto'o, sticking a 'B' in front of the 'Eto'o' to make it 'Beto'o.'
Against Sheffield United, 'Beto'o' was handed his first Premier League start by Everton boss Sean Dyche.
And it's safe to say that despite taking just a point away from the newly promoted Blades at Bramall Lane, Everton fans on social media are excited about what he could offer them in attack.
"One thing is for certain, the PL will have issues playing to the physicality of Beto’o. He just so effortlessly throws his mark around," wrote one fan on social media. Another added: "I’ll say it over and over every week but as long as Beto’o is fit DCL isn’t starting this season."

Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.
A third commented: "Beto is a serious player. How we’ve managed to convince him to sign for us I’ll never know." And a fourth said: "Don’t have make it hard to win Everton. Get Beto fitter and get the midfield tighter and we will be better."
Having joined Everton from Serie A side Udinese, the move to the Premier League caps off a wild four years for the imposing forward, who was working in a KFC just four years ago.
