Steve Clarke faces major injury sweat over key Scotland star ahead of international double header vs Cyprus and England

LYNDON DYKES is a major injury doubt for Scotland's double-header against Cyprus and England.
The QPR frontman missed a third successive game for his side yesterday with a knee injury.
Dykes hasn't played since being injured in the Carabao Cup tie against Norwich City on August 16.
Boss Gareth Ainsworth said then: “He slipped after he was tackled and I think he injured himself in the slip."
Now Scotland medical staff will assess the striker when the squad meet up tomorrow night.
Dykes has become a Steve Clarke favourite since making his national debut in 2020.

The national team will face the Cypriots in a crucial Euro 2024 qualifier on September 8 before a glamour friendly against the Auld Enemy a few days later.
They've picked up 12 points from a possible 12 in their opening four qualifying games thanks to three wins at Hampden against Cyprus, Georgia and Spain and a dramatic late comeback against Norway in Oslo to secure victory over there.
With Scotland being in a five-team group, the other four nations will continue playing each other whilst Scotland are in action against the English.
