The 2023 Sidemen Charity Match takes place this afternoon and Tobi Brown is expected to be one of the stars of the show once again.

Tobi, known as TBJZL online, is a member of the Sidemen and has a reputation as one of the best football players on YouTube.

His talents even impressed professional scouts who attended last year’s Sidemen charity game as he was picked to train for League Two side Crawley Town alongside his brothers.

TBJZL, Jed and their other sibling Manny were all scouted with Crawley announcing that they could even feature in an FA Cup game for the club.

So after their success in 2022, where are they now? talkSPORT.com takes a look…

Does Tobi ‘TBJZL’ Brown play for Crawley Town?

TBJZL does not play for Crawley Town.

Tobi’s involvement in the club’s training session led to backlash from many fans online and he was forced to comment on the situation.

The Sidemen star wrote on Twitter: "Everyone needs to chill though I'm just gonna join in with a training session.

"I've been a football fan my whole life, I know the importance of the FA Cup to players and fans alike so not trying to jeopardize that for anyone.

"Just putting more eyes on the club and showing support."

He admitted that he would just be taking part in training and that he wouldn’t be featuring for the club in a competitive game.

And since he has returned to making YouTube videos rather than switching to a footballing career.

What happened to his brother Jed?

As for Jed though, he was more keen to make the move to football.

The 24-year-old is not a part of the Sidemen and doesn’t make YouTube videos with him being the lesser-known of the three brothers.

But he signed a one-year deal to stay at Crawley and join their B team in February, while Tobi and Manny continued as YouTubers.

Speaking on the deal, co-chairman Preston Johnson said: “Jed is a young player who has acquitted himself well during previous training sessions with the team, and we’re happy to have him continue his development as a member of our B team.

“While he may not currently be part of our first-team plans, we welcome Jed to the club and look forward to his continued growth as he trains alongside his new teammates.”

Since joining, he has been promoted to Crawley’s first team and is listed as a squad member for the current season.

Jed has been named in a matchday squad in the Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy but is yet to make his professional debut for the club.
