The transfer window in Saudi Arabia has now closed with a huge amount of world-class talent making the move to the Middle East this summer.

Following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in January, things have drastically changed for Saudi clubs who have now invested over £700million into more of Europe’s best players.

From the Premier League, Manchester City treble-winners Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte both made the switch to Al Ahli and Al Nassr respectively.

Liverpool lost two stars to Saudi Arabia as Jordan Henderson and Fabinho followed former teammate Roberto Firmino to the Middle East.

Former Reds captain Henderson is now reportedly earning a whopping £700,000-a-week at Steven Gerrrard’s Al Ettifaq.

N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy all left Chelsea to join Saudi sides as the Blues cleared out their ever-growing squad.
