We all know Ederson is one of the best ball-playing keepers on the planet - but the stunt he pulled during Manchester City's win over Red Star Belgrade (Crvena zvezda) would've made even Manuel Neuer wince.

The Brazilian shot-stopper threw caution to the wind and pulled out an ambitious Cruyff turn some 30 yards from his goal to beat a player. The trick worked (just about ) but it left Pep Guardiola sweating like a pig on the touchline.

Replays showed the Spaniard watching on open-jawed before covering his eyes with his hand like a disappointed father catching his infant son scribbling permanent marker on the wall. Fans, on the other hand, were loving Ederson's antics, with one even suggesting he should be up for the Ballon d'Or next year.

A third added: "Ederson for the Ballon d'Or," while a fourth said: "That look on Pep's face says it all. Ederson is amazing but the unnecessary s*** he does will give you a heart attack."

What made Ederson's stunt more panic-inducing is that he performed it with the score tied at 1-1. City went behind on the stroke of half-time following Osman Bukari's composed finish, but Julian Alvarez levelled the game just two minutes after the break.
