Malik Tillman bombed out PSV squad as former Rangers star sleeps in for a NIGHT game to leave Bosz beeling
The attacking midfielder has not got off to a great start in Holland after leaving Rangers.
Malik Tillman was bombed out of the PSV squad this weekend for remarkably oversleeping ahead of a night game as boss Peter Bosz hit the snooze button on the star's excuses.
The attacking midfielder looked poised to join Rangers on a permanent deal after a loan stint from Bayern last season. But the option to buy agreement the Premiership side had in place was scrapped and he headed on loan to the Eredivisie, and was part of the PSV squad that dumped Michael Beale's men out of the Champions League.
But he's now the centre of Dutch ire as Bosz admitted he wasn't involved in the 4-0 win over Almere City due to sleeping in. Tillman was due to play a part in the game but his tardiness ultimately left his new gaffer far from pleased. He said post-match: “That's exactly what he did. He overslept, so I left him at home. I don't think you need to bring that up to any trainer. I was told he still wanted to come, but I said he didn't have to. He will train again tomorrow.”
Tillman is yet to make his PSV mark since leaving Rangers. He has made just three appearances so far and has yet to start a match but did score off the bench earlier this month in his only Eredivisie appearance this season against RKC Waalwijk.
