Leyton Orient's League One clash with Lincoln City was abandoned on Tuesday evening following a medical emergency in the crowd.

The contest was initially paused in the final 10 minutes after supporters ran onto the pitch to get medical assistance for their fellow fan. Players were taken off the pitch by referee Stephen Martin as match goers remained in the stands while awaiting an update.

A red curtain was brought onto the playing surface at Brisbane Road as doctors and stewards rushed to the area to try and assist the stricken supporter. Leyton Orient said on X (formerly known as Twitter): "The game is paused due to a crowd emergency.
