Former Rangers and Everton star Duncan Ferguson’s unusual welcome gift from local Inverness business

DUNCAN FERGUSON received a warm welcome from Inverness fans after taking over as their new manager last week.
The former Dundee United, Rangers and Everton star was handed an unusual gift from a local business after guiding his new team to their first league win of the season in his opening match in charge.
Ferguson, 51, looked delighted as he posed for a picture with his present - a tray of doughnuts.
Sent in from a local bakery, the Dream Rings were enjoyed by the new boss and his staff.
Sharing a snap of big Dunc and his tasty treats, Inverness posted on social media: "A big thank you to @HarryGowBakery, who sent Manager Duncan Ferguson a tray of Dream Rings to welcome him to Inverness! They were enjoyed by club staff today."
Inverness failed to win any of their opening six fixtures in the Scottish Championship under Billy Dodds before he was sacked - just months after leading the club to the Scottish Cup final.

Ferguson, who was axed by English side Forest Green Rovers, took the reigns at the Highland club and kickstarted his tenure as boss in style with a crucial 3-2 away win against Arbroath.
It was a huge three points for Caley Thistle as the result propelled them from the bottom of the table.
Prior to that, the club had picked up just a singular point from a draw against Dunfermline and sat rock bottom of the table.
But they're now in ninth place following last week's result after overtaking Morton on goal difference.
