Bizarre incident with linesman Douglas Ross delays Peterhead v Dundee Utd cup tie

PETERHEAD's clash with Dundee United in the SPFL Trust Trophy was delayed due to an INJURY to the linesman.
Douglas Ross was on duty when he suffered from a calf problem in the 74th minute of the clash at Balmoor Stadium.
He had to make his way off the park and was then replaced by Dan McFarlane on the touchline.
Ross reappeared near the dugout in his jacket as the game resumed after a five minute delay with Dundee Utd leading 2-0.
Utd coach Dave Bowman saw the funny side as he tried to take the flag off Ross on his way past the dugout.
Meanwhile, an ex-Rangers star was bizarrely caught on camera holding a PIE while on punditry duty.
