Jamie O’Hara has studio in stitches with joke about Ally McCoist’s ‘Ashley Cole’ commentary clanger during Merseyside derby

Jamie O'Hara couldn't help but poke fun at Ally McCoist following his commentary blunder at the weekend... and the Rangers legend took it well.
McCoist is one of the best co-commentators around and was on duty for TNT Sports as they covered the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton.
While the Reds came away with a 2-0 win, their cause was aided by the red card picked up by Ashley Young for a foul on Luis Diaz.
However, McCoist suffered of the tongue after referring to Young as Ashley Cole, the famous ex-defender who played for Arsenal and Chelsea.
While mistakes happen in commentary, O'Hara couldn't help but poke fun at McCoist as he called into talkSPORT on Monday morning.
Speaking on The Sports Breakfast, O'Hara asked: “Coisty, are you doing commentary tonight?" to which McCoist replied: "I’m doing commentary and looking forward to it."
The ex-Tottenham midfielder then replied: "Are you going to get the players’ names right or is it going to be Ashley Cole playing left back?"
However the Scottish football legend saw the funny side, joking: "I don’t know, I haven’t made my mind up yet.
"I’ll keep you informed. I had a bit of a nuclear with that one, didn’t I?
“I had Ashley Cole getting sent off on Saturday. It was a hell of a tackle from Birmingham to end up in Liverpool!”
