Borussia Dortmund will be buoyed by the return of former Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer for the Champions League clash with Newcastle United. The ex-Red Devil joined the Bundesliga side this summer from Bayern Munich bit has missed the past few games due to an injury.
Edin Terzic's side could also be without former Magpies' target Youssoufa Moukoko who picked up a thigh injury in the build-up to their domestic clash with Werder Bremen. The Toon were linked with the young German forward repeatedly last season, but he signed fresh terms with BVB.
Sebastian Haller returned late from international duty and had to settle for a place on the bench, but replaced Niclas Fullkrug in the win over Bremen. Speaking prior to that game, boss Terzic said: “Marcel Sabitzer will be available again. Unfortunately, Youssoufa Moukoko has sustained a strain in his thigh and will not be able to take part tomorrow.”
