Trent Alexander-Arnold hails Luke Chambers after full Liverpool debut
Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold raved over Luke Chambers after the 19-year-old made his first start for the club in the 5-1 Europa League win over Toulouse

Trent Alexander-Arnold has lauded Luke Chambers after the 19-year-old made his first Liverpool start in the 5-1 Europa League win over Toulouse at Anfield.
Preston-born Chambers deputised for Kostas Tsimikas at left-back on a historic night for the Reds academy. He played for 67 minutes before he was replaced by fellow Reds under-21 prospect Calum Scanlon, who earned the first competitive minutes of his senior career.
Alexander-Arnold, one of the club's most famous Academy graduates, captained Liverpool in the absence of Virgil van Dijk, who was one of eight changes from Saturday's Merseyside derby win over Everton. And the 25-year-old praised his fellow full-back Chambers.

"Yeah, I remember just how he feels," the right-back told TNT Sports. "It was seven years yesterday since my debut, and that excitement that you’ve worked so hard for, he's put in so much hard work and he’s shown himself.
"He’s been outstanding every time when he’s been with the team on and off the pitch and he plays amazing football as well. It’s amazing to see him out there and he’s a really amazing player with great potential and I’m sure him and his family will have a special night tonight because it’s one he’ll never forget.
"He put in a performance that he should be proud of out there, a very mature performance and he contributed to a big win for us."
Chambers was making his full debut at Anfield a month after he made his senior bow from the bench during the win over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup third round.
The 19-year-old, also speaking to TNT Sports, said of the experience: "It was unbelievable, I’ve dreamt about this moment since I was six years old and to top it off with a win really, I’m a bit lost for words.
"Yesterday I found out (that he was starting), we always do the team during training and then I went home, had a bit of time with my family last night and it was a bit of a reality check this morning when I woke up but I’ve loved every minute of it."
