Nico Raskin Rangers injury update as Belgian joined on the crock list by Ibrox defender for Dundee trip
The Belgian midfielder went down injured during the victory over Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.
Philippe Clement hopes Nico Raskin's injury is "short term" as John Souttar joined the Belgian midfielder in being ruled out of the trip to Dundee.
Raskin went down injured in the win over Hearts on Sunday with an ankle issue but Clement says they won't know until the next couple of days the extent of the problem. Souttar also has an issue while last action Hearts goal hero Danilo still won't be able to feature for 90 minutes. Tom Lawrence is back training.
Clement said: "Raskin is not in the squad (for Dundee). He was doing good things so it is a pity. I hope it is short term but it's not guaranteed. We will see in the next couple of days. Tom Lawrence is back training. but not yet fit enough to be in the squad. Danilo is ready to play but not for 90 minutes. It is quite a puzzle with the various injuries. John Souttar will also be unavailable with a small muscle injury.
"In the next couple of weeks and months we want to have a bigger squad available and are working on this internally. I want an ambitious squad, every day in training and matches. We give the players the tools to be the best they can be physically, mentally and tactically. It is the about players taking responsibility."
