Aldershot Town dumped Swindon out of the FA Cup

Aldershot Town have had quite the tumultuous past decade, and they crashed back into non-league in 2013 with debts of over £1million never to return to the Football League.

However, they had a chance to smile again on Saturday as they hit League Two's Swindon for SEVEN while playing away from home in the FA Cup. Aldershot had flown out of the blocks, with Jack Barham netting twice in the opening five minutes.

Barham would complete his hat-trick in 58th minute, as the Shots went 7-0 up. Swindon had a late resurgence, netting four times - including two from Charlie Austin - but it was too little too late.

There was to be no repeat of Marine's 2020 heroics, as they were hammered 5-1 by League Two struggles Harrogate Town. Sheppey United had also teased a shock on Friday night, but they were quickly pegged back by Walsall, who then hit them for four.
