Newcastle United duo Anthony Gordon and Lewis Hall are both being tipped to break into the England senior set-up ahead of Euro 2028, according to Grosvenor Casinos. The international tournament will be held in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and the Magpies duo are tipped to play a starring role.

Gordon helped lead the Three Lions U21s side to European glory in the summer and won the player of the tournament. He's taken that form into domestic action with Eddie Howe's side and has been one of the standout performers for the Magpies so far this season.

On his inclusion in the team, Grosvenor Casinos said: "He was one of the two forwards for the England U-21 side which won the tournament and is now getting Champions League football with Newcastle. He will get plenty of experience to grow and with him being 27 come the time of EURO 2028, he could be well in his prime come the tournament."

Fellow recent arrival Hall is also being tipped to break into the senior set-up. An injury during pre-season with Chelsea has delayed his first-team appearances for Eddie Howe's side, but was the subject of plenty praise following his Stamford Bridge breakthrough.

Grosvenor Casinos said: "Despite not being part of either of the under-19 or under-21 England teams, at just 17 he was one of the best left-backs in the Premier League 2 last season, starting 16 games with seven goals and assists.

"Statistically, he is similar to England’s own Ben Chilwell. Hall is in the 95th percentile for tackles per 90 (3.12) and 93rd percentile for shot-creating actions per 90 (3.52)."

Predicted England starting XI for Euro 2028: James Trafford; Lewis Hall, Levi Colwill, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Rico Lewis; Jude Bellingham, Kobbie Mainoo, Curtis Jones; Bukayo Saka, Anthony Gordon, Phil Foden.
