Amanda Ilestedt's stoppage-time winner sealed Arsenal's comeback as they claimed a 2-1 victory against Southampton in the Women's League Cup on Thursday.
It was Arsenal's second win of the tournament with the defending champions climbing into second in Group D, level on six points with leaders Tottenham.
The Gunners are out to win their seventh League Cup title but had to fight hard to secure the victory, with Jonas Eidevall's side going a goal down courtesy of Molly Pike's right footed shot in the 55th-minute.
But it wasn't long before the north London side drew level, with Frida Maanum striking home past Saints' goalkeeper Kayla Rendell from just outside the six-yard box.
Despite going a goal down early, it was Arsenal who dominated the lion's share of play, amassing 59% possession while having 13 shots on goal to Southampton's nine.
Ilestedt, who was assisted by Maanum, then struck in injury-time, heading in the Norwegian's cross to seal a dramatic victory.
It was also the 30-year-old's first goal for the club having joined Arsenal earlier this summer on a two-year deal.
Southampton sit third in the table, having now won two and lost one of their opening three matches so far.
Meanwhile, Durham claimed a dramatic 8-7 penalty shootout victory against Sheffield United after playing out a 1-1 draw.
The result means the hosts go top of Group A, ahead of Aston Villa who have a game in hand.
The Northumberland side took the lead in the first half thanks to Amy Andrews, chipping the ball over Eleanor Heeps in the Sheffield goal.
While Durham withstood several chances from Sheffield in the second half, Jess Sigsworth levelled the scores in the 81st-minute, a strike that would take the game to penalties.
Naoisha McAloon proved the hero, saving three penalties as Durham earned a bonus point.
It means Durham go one point clear of Villa at the top of the table, with Sheffield suffering their third defeat of the campaign.
