Sergio Aguero rocks up in 'embarrassing' full Man City outfit at F1's Abu Dhabi GP

Sergio Aguero was labelled ‘embarrassing’ after he rocked up to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix wearing a full custom-made Manchester City race suit

Sergio Aguero’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix outfit has been slatted after he wore an ‘embarrassing’ Manchester City outfit to the final F1 race of the season.

The City legend was among the stars and fellow Premier League aces, such as Jordan Henderson, in attendance at the Yas Marina circuit but his hideous outfit was certainly the worst of the weekend so far.

Aguero left the Etihad in 2021 after ten years at the club to join Barcelona but was forced to retire just months later on advice from doctors after he was taken to hospital with chest discomfort diagnosed as cardiac arrhythmia during a game against Alaves. But Aguero is still showing where his true loyalties lie.

The former Argentina international was snapped appearing in a custom-made City race suit. His outfit saw a City top with sponsors and even a collar to match the current kit, the bottom half of the suit copied the City shorts design with the badge and Puma logo under a No10, and of course, the look was finished off with his name and iconic No10 on the back of the top.

Opinion was definitely split on social media as City fans unsurprisingly revelled seeing their hero still showing his love for the club, one fan commented: “Aguero shows up to the race in a full City race suit but people will still tell me he doesn't give a f*** about Man City”. A second said: “City through and through”, while a third dubbed him an “absolute legend”.

But others weren’t impressed with Aguero’s outfit, as one simply called him “embarrassing”. A second said: “This might be the worst thing I’ve ever seen”, while a third added: “He looks like a 10-year-old.”

Aguero’s trip to Abu Dhabi means he won’t be in the stands to watch City take on Liverpool in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off. A win for his former side would see them open up a four point gap to Liverpool while the Reds can leapfrog Pep Guardiola’s side to top spot of the Premier League table with victory.
