Estimated return dates for Newcastle United injured players as Sean Longstaff misses PSG clash
Newcastle United are in the midst of an injury crisis and short on numbers

Eddie Howe and Newcastle United will be without Sean Longstaff for their Champions League clash with PSG after the academy graduate didn't travel to Paris.
The Toon midfielder missed the 4-1 win over Chelsea with an injury but could well return for the clash with Manchester United. Howe will be without a number of key players for the clash at the Parc Des Princes with Joe Willock another big name ruled out in recent weeks.
The Magpies were buoyed by the return of Alexander Isak in the win over Chelsea at St. James' Parl, with Lewis Miley also impressing against the Blues.
Newcastle will need another similar gritty performance against the reigning French champions this evening, knowing their Champions League fate hands in the balance.
A win in France would be another historical result having thrashed PSG 4-1 at St. James' Park on home soil, but the Magpies know PSG will be out to exact revenge.
Joe Willock
Speaking after the win over Chelsea, Howe reflected on Willock's injury blow: “It looks like a recurrence of an Achilles injury that he had a few weeks ago. It's a massive blow for us.
"We don't know how long he's going to be out, we're going to have to seek specialist advice, but it's a huge blow for us."

Howe said: "With Jacob, we always knew there was a chance that he could do his shoulder again. We will lose him now to an operation. I'm not completely sure how long he will be out for, but it'll probably be around three months."
Estimated return: January 30th

Howe said: "Unfortunately, Dan will be out for some time. It could be a couple of months; that is sort of a speculative answer. I think he has got a problem with the base of his spine. It is a big blow for us."

“We know what his injury is, but we’re unsure at this moment in time how long Sven is going to be out,” said Howe. “We’re hoping it’s not going to be too long. We’re hoping he can rejoin the group pretty quickly, but there is a chance that might not happen so we’re keeping everything crossed.”
