And Kenny Miller was surprised at the decision, so much so that he SWORE live on radio.

The ex-Rangers striker was giving his thoughts on the game as a pundit on BBC Sportsound's coverage.

Miller said: “I don’t know where we are going with this. Ah, f**k. It’ll be a red card, but I don’t think it’s a red.

"He’s not gone in there to hurt Bakayoko. He’s caught him on the shin but there’s no great force, very little force if I could say that.

"Yes he’s caught him halfway up the shin but I don’t know where we are going with this.

”I’m speechless. He’s dangled a leg in there and it’s caught him on the top of the shin. Big deal.

"It’s a booking and not a red card, but this is where we are with VAR.

"It’s a harsh penalty on Dundee earlier too for the holding and now you have Rangers down to 10 men, for what is a shocking decision for me.”

Meanwhile, Rangers have been accused of being transfer ‘snobby’ as a pundit slammed the club’s summer recruitment.

The Light Blues signed a host of new players, including attackers Danilo, Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers.

But all three have really struggled to hold down a starting spot in the squad.

And pundit Stephen McGinn said Rangers have been too 'snobby' in not paying money for Lawrence Shankland.

He told Go Radio: “There’s a bit of snobbery in this country. I get that when you go abroad, you can maybe get the superstars who are going to be here for four or five years.

"We’ve had Klimala, Ajeti, this season Dessers, Danilo, big signings from abroad that haven’t hit it off.

“When you look at that over the years, then what’s the problem of going getting someone short term, guys who have worked for other clubs?

"Like Leigh Griffiths, Kris Boyd, Steven Naismith; they’ve all come from provincial clubs and done a job for Celtic and Rangers over the years.”
