'Richard Arnold is amazing' - Jose Mourinho gives explosive interview about his time at Manchester United
Jose Mourinho was sacked as Man United manager in December 2018 and he's currently in charge of Roma in Italy.
In an honest interview about his time at Manchester United, Jose Mourinho has implied there are still players and staff at the club who make it difficult for a manager to succeed.
Mourinho won the League Cup and Europa League during his two-and-half-year tenure at Old Trafford before being sacked following a dismal run of results and reports of dressing room unrest.
The charismatic Portuguese was relieved of his duties in December 2018 and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer succeeded him on an interim basis before being permanently appointed a few months later.

Mourinho managed Tottenham for a two-year stint after departing United and he's now in charge of Roma, who he led to win the inaugural Europa Conference League title in 2022.
The 60-year-old recently sat down with The Obi One Podcast and he was asked about his time in Manchester. Mourinho said he had no regrets and he discussed his strong relationship with United supporters.
Furthermore, he suggested there are players and staff still at the club who make it difficult for a manager to succeed, while also claiming he would have preferred to have worked with Richard Arnold as CEO.
"I don’t have regrets because I gave everything and did the maximum I could do. I love the club, I love the fans, the history is something you have to respect and appreciate," Mourinho said.
"The second position [2017/18] is still the best after Sir Alex Ferguson, the European cup is still the biggest achievement in the past 10 years or so. I did my best and it's not in my nature to go back and speak about - I like to speak about the good things of the past.
"But there are still people at that club and when I say people, I say some players, but also some other people who aren't players, they're still there and after two months with these people, you are never going to do it [succeed].
"They are still they are they still have one CEO who is an amazing person, who I would have loved to have during my time there but I didn't, which is Richard Arnold, who is now leaving.
"I had him as a general commercial director, not the CEO. I would have loved to have him on my side during my time there, but the club was not easy, so I don't have regrets because I gave everything.
"The fans know how much I love the club and I went there once with Sky, I was in the box and the whole stadium turned to me applauding and singing for me.
"If that happens when I go to Inter, Madrid, Porto or Chelsea, you say ok this is because of everything we won, but when you got to Man United, a club with that history and they do that for a coach, who won a Europa League, a cup, a second position and a charity shield, you arrive at the conclusion they know that I gave everything that I could."
Mourinho revealed a story about an unnamed United players' agent accusing him of bullying for substituting his client.
"When I was at Man United, I made a change at half-time and his agent was accusing me of bullying," he added. "With Matic at Stamford Bridge, I put him at minute 45 and took him at minute 70 and that's education, coaching and trying to win.
"I laugh about these times. The world and football has changed. To be a dad, you have to be a different dad."
