Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor locked in conversation ringside during Day of Reckoning boxing bonanza

Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor took their seats ringside at the Day of Reckoning sitting next to each other on a blockbuster card.

The superstars were out in force in Riyadh on Saturday night with Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Dmitry Bivol all in action.

And sitting ringside was Al Nassr star Ronaldo, who was placed next to His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh at the Kingdom Arena.

The former Manchester United striker was also sat next to McGregor, who arrived in time for Bivol's points victory over Manchester-born fighter Lyndon Arthur.

And the pair were spotted chewing each other's ears off - two months on from linking up at Tyson Fury's fight against Francis Ngannou.

The two titans of their respective sports were also joined by Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren, who were also seated next to each other.

Despite the two heading up arguably England's two biggest boxing agencies, they had not met before last month.

However, Warren was nowhere to be seen for Bivol's win over Arthur.

Though that might be down to the fact that his boxer Daniel Dubois had just claimed an impressive victory over Jarrell Miller.

However, the two were reunited as Deontay Wilder fought Joseph Parker.

McGregor, though, might have been upset with organisers before a punch had even been thrown.

That is because the name on his seat was spelt wrong, calling him 'Connor' with two 'n's when his name is spelt with one.

But if he was upset, it did not last long as he and Ronaldo were spotted in hysterics together soon after.

Ronaldo is often a lauded guest of mega-events held in Saudi Arabia as one of the biggest names to arrive in the country after Al Nassr signed him.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner blazed the trail for many others to arrive from Europe including Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante and Jordan Henderson.

McGregor, meanwhile, was given a special invite for the event and flew in on his private jet.
