Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly won the race to sign Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Moscardo despite receiving Premier League interest.
Prior reports suggested that Chelsea were leading the race to sign the 18-year-old from Corinthians, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Spanish side Barcelona also interested.
French giants PSG though have swooped in and look to have secured the services of the youngster.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that a verbal agreement has been reached between the clubs over a £17million deal.
The package also includes an additional £1.7m in add-ons, and the player will fly to Paris as soon as the clubs sign a formal agreement.

Moscardo (centre) broke into the Corinthians team in 2023 making 18 league appearances
Moscardo previously claimed in an interview last month that Chelsea had made an approach for him.
He said: 'There was a proposal from Chelsea months ago, but I talk a lot with my agent and my parents and they try to give me information.
'They say there is not long until the end of the season, they tell me to dedicate myself and do well, and that at the end of the season, there will be good things.'
Moscardo was recently called up to the Brazil U23 side and made 18 appearances in the Brazilian league this season, scoring one goal as Corinthians finished 13th in the standings.
He is currently enjoying a break after the Brazilian season reaches it's conclusion earlier this month.
Corinthians president Augusto Melo confirmed in a recent interview that Moscardo decided to join PSG.
Speaking to Radio Bandeirantes as per Foot Mercato, Melo said: 'Unfortunately, the cycle has come to an end, his mind is elsewhere, we gave him the freedom to choose, may he be happy. He’s heading to Paris.'
Chelsea have signed three Brazilians in 2023, starting off with highly-rated Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama for £16m.

In July Chelsea then signed 15-year-old teenage Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel from Santos.
Just a month later they then signed another Brazilian teenager from Santos in Deivid Washington for £17.2m who plays as a forward.
