Real Betis announce new contract for Isco with bizarre Ali G recreation video

Real Betis certainly found a quirky way to announce the news that Isco has signed a new contract at the club.
The Spaniard joined the LaLiga club in the summer as a free agent after he terminated his contract with Sevilla in December 2022.
He initially signed a one-year deal with Betis but has now committed his long-term future to the club by extending his contract until 2027.
Isco has already made 23 appearances this season and has started in 17 of their 18 league matches as they sit seventh in the table.
It's normally new transfer signings that see club media teams show off their editing skills to create viral videos and images.
But Betis thought the latest news would be the perfect occasion for them to put a unique twist on their announcement.
In a video on their social media, an actor is seen dressed as Ali G, a character played by Sacha Baron Cohen in the film 'Ali G Indahouse'.
As he steps into a bright yellow car, number plates that read 'FOREVER GREEN' and 'ANNOUNCE' are displayed on the camera.
Betis recreate the scene in which Ali G is driving around and rapping along to M-Beat and General Levy's song Incredible.
Instead of saying 'Wicked, wicked!' though, the actor is heard rapping 'Betis, Betis!' as he takes to the roads of Seville.
He then pulls up to Betis' home ground of Estadio Benito Villamarin and pretends to nearly crash into another car as he tries to park.
"What are you doing bruv? Are you mad?" he shouts, before Isco steps out and reveals a shirt that has his name and 2027 on the back.
Ali G is no longer angered and smiles as the Betis star, who is playing for his fifth senior club at the age of 31.
Isco has only featured for Spanish sides during his career, which began at Valencia before he signed for Malaga and then Real Madrid.
The former Spanish international won three La Liga titles and five Champions Leagues at the European giants before leaving in 2022.
