Grimsby Town are mourning the shocking and devastating death of Cameron Walsh, a 'cherished member of their youth team'.
The club announced on Monday evening that 16-year-old boy had died alongside his dad Dave on Saturday in a 'tragic incident'.
Grimsby Town will pay tribute to Walsh and his father Dave at their game vs Notts County on Saturday afternoon.
The League Two club described the 'left-sided centre-back' as an integral part of the GTFC academy and explained how he would be missed.
In a statement released on their social platforms, Grimsby Town said Walsh's 'passion for the game, coupled with his undeniable talent, made him a much-loved figure'.

The statement read: 'It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Grimsby Town Football Club announces the untimely passing of one of our cherished youth team members, Cameron Walsh, aged 16, and his father Dave.
'The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, 6th January.
'Cameron Walsh was an integral part of the GTFC academy. His passion for the game, coupled with his undeniable talent, made him a much-loved figure among team-mates, coaches, and the entire Grimsby Town family.
'The Club is devastated by this heartbreaking loss and extends its deepest condolences to the family during this incredibly difficult time.
'Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through the pain and grief that comes with such a tragedy.
'The Club appreciates the outpouring of support from the football community and urges everyone to remember Cameron and Dave.
'We will pay tribute to Cameron and Dave at our game vs Notts County on Saturday (further details to follow).
'We understand that a GoFundMe page has been set up to support the family and we will communicate details of this, once confirmed.'
Burton Albion FC replied: 'Absolutely devastating. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cameron’s family, loved ones and everyone connected with the club.'
Harrogate Town AFC wrote: 'Our condolences to everyone affected by this horrific news', while West Brom Tweeted: 'This is such horrible news. The thoughts of all of us at West Bromwich Albion are with the Walsh family, the friends of Cameron and Dave, along with all associated with Grimsby Town.'
