MAYBE Michy Batshuayi wouldn't require too much of an acclimatisation period if the Fenerbahce striker agrees to join Philippe Clement at Rangers after all.

We told you last night how the Gers boss was desperate to land the Belgian striker for the second part of the Scottish season.

And now it emerges that the Belgian striker - who we has already had a beginners' guide to Scottish life - including playing the Bagpipes and going 'true Scotsman'.

Batshuayi doesn't just have previous against Scotland with two Hampden goals in a friendly, he was the star turn in a funny video produced by the Belgian FA prior to a Euro 2020 qualifier at Hampden.

And that included him going commando in a kilt and playing the bagpipes in the company of Thorgan Hazard.

A shocked Batshuayi asked: "Is it a joke?" before coming to the realisation that he would indeed have to take off his undergarments to play Scotland's national instrument.

He said: "We have to take off our shorts and put them there to show them we're not wearing them."

With that, off they came and it was time to start playing.

To Hazard's surprise and amazement, Batshuayi was actually rather good - producing a strong, clear sound immediately to the delight of the pros.

He even threw in a bit of bit of a jig for good measure.

Thorgan reluctantly admitted: "Mine is broken.

"Michy, he's good at this.

"I think you did much better than me.

"I think we better stick with football."

Ironically, Batshuayi has also caused a stir WEARING pants - as he accidentally flashed Sponge Bob Squarepants briefs after opened the scoring against Kazakhstan 2-0 in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

He posted a photograph of himself laying on the pitch in the 69th minute - unaware that his hilarious briefs were on show.

Batshuayi had previously revealed that Spongebob Squarepants and Batman were part of the season he joined Borussia Dortmund. 

He told reporters: "I love black and yellow.
