Manchester United 'use Facundo Pellistri in £69m swap deal' and more transfer rumours
The MEN takes a look at the latest transfer rumours involving Manchester United
Manchester United are reported to have offered Facundo Pellistri an exit as part of a swap deal this month.
The 22-year-old has made 14 appearances for United so far this season, The Sun are reporting that the Urugyuan international has been offered a new start away from Old Trafford. PSV Eindhoven are one club said to have been interested in the winger already in Janaury, but the newspaper claims Sporting CP have been offered the chance to sign Pellistri, with defensive midfielder Morten Hjulmand potentially heading in the opposite direction.
With the initial bid said to have been rejected, Sporting see Hjulmand's worth at a reported £69million given his electric form so far this season. The Portuguese table-toppers have lost just one league game as they bid to win a 20th title.

24-year-old Hjulmand represents Denmark at international level and can play in a variety of different positions across midfield. He has played all but one of Sporting's league games so far this term.
Pellistri has found opportunities hard to come by but did start against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League earlier this season, as United were beaten 4-3 by the reigning German champions at the Allianz Arena.
Elsewhere, United have reportedly lodged their interest in Lille striker Jonathan David, with Aston Villa also keeping tabs on his situation.
The Canadian international is one of Europe's hottest prospects at present and continues to go from strength to strength in Ligue 1. He has scored a whopping 68 goals in 160 games for the French outfit so far and it is FootballTransfers who say United remain interested in the forward.
David has made it clear that he is eager to move on from Lille and a deal could be struck in the summer months. His current contract is set to expire at the Stade Pierre Mauroy in 2025.
