Michy Batshuayi in transfer address as Rangers swirls land definitive answer amid Real Madrid come and get me quip

The experience striker was linked with Rangers this week but any talk of a move out of Turkey has been met with a quip.

Michy Batshuayi has committed his future to Fenerbahce - but only if Real Madrid don't come looking for him.

The Belgian scored in a convincing 7-1 demolition of Konyaspor on Tuesday as the Turkish giants sit top of the Super Lig. His goal in the Istanbul rout came hours after reports that Rangers were aiming to pull off a transfer coup by luring him to Ibrox for the remainder of the season to work under fellow Belgian Philippe Clement. Club insiders have denied any move for the 30-year-old.

That hasn't stopped the rumour mill though and Batshuayi was asked directly post-match about talk that he could be on his way out of Turkey after joining Fenerbahce following time at Besiktas. And in a definitive address, he killed speculation of a January departure - but only on the basis that Carlo Ancelotti wasn't looking to make him a part of his star-studded Real Madrid attacking stable.

He told SportX : "I am here until the end of the season. My priority is to make Fenerbahce champions. Then we will talk to the president. I want to stay In Fenerbahce. Of course, if Real Madrid calls, things may change."
