Lyndon Dykes lands surprise Celtic transfer endorsement as Brendan Rodgers told striker would be 'really interested'
Dykes has impressed for Scotland but has struggled to find top gear with QPR this term.

Kenny Miller has declared that Lyndon Dykes would be "really interested" in a move to Celtic this month - IF Brendan Rodgers came calling.
The Scotland star has played a key role in helping Steve Clarke's side reach Euro 2024 and will almost certainly have booked his spot on the plane to Germany this summer - but he has faced a tough season with his club Queens Park Rangers. The London outfit face a scrap for survival in the English Championship and sit five points from safety in the relegation zone.
Dykes has managed just fives goals for the strugglers so far this season - and that has sparked a pitch that Celtic could make a move to take the striker north of the border to challenge Kyogo Furuhashi for a starting spot. A caller to Clyde 1 Superscoreboard floated the potential deal, and Rangers hero Miller - who managed Dykes during his brief tenure as boss at Livingston - surprisingly offered his backing for the deal.
Miller said: "I think when you talk plan B, Brendan Rodgers want to play a certain brand of football. They will train it and they will work it - because plan B often means ‘why don’t you throw the big guy up front?’, but that’s not how they play.
"Lyndon Dykes for instance, he is completely different to Kyogo. He brings a kind of signing that (Giorgos) Giakoumakis provided them with, maybe a more physical option who came into his own - and scored a lot of goals for Celtic as well. I think Lyndon - if that was a move that was an opportunity for him - he would be really interested in. To compete with Kyogo."
