Owen Beck’s future decided amid transfer interest from Celtic and Rangers in Liverpool star

OWEN BECK has been one of the prominent names of the transfer window as far as a quickfire return to Scottish football goes.
But the Liverpool defender's future as far as the rest of the season goes has now been CONFIRMED.
Beck, 21, was a standout for Dundee during a loan spell at Dens Park in the first half of the season.
His excellent form saw him recalled by Liverpool at the beginning of this month with Jurgen Klopp dealing with an injury crisis at left back.
Scotland skipper Andy Robertson and his understudy Kostas Tsimikas have BOTH been out injured, with Joe Gomez filling in.
Beck's recall by the Reds sparked interest in him from both Celtic and Rangers.

But as SunSport revealed, both clubs had approaches rebuffed with Beck being touted for his debut in the FA Cup earlier this month.
A suspension carried over from Scotland meant that debut plan was scuppered.
And with both Robertson and Tsimikas on their way back from their injuries, the door seemed to be opening again for a potential move back to Scotland for Beck.
In fact, reports earlier today had suggested Celtic were preparing to make another go at trying to land him before the transfer window closes.

But, his future is now settled - as far as the rest of this season goes, anyway.
That's because he HAS now made his Liverpool debut.
Beck was brought on in the 83rd minute of the Reds' Premier League clash with Bournemouth, replacing fellow youngster Conor Bradley.
And that means he's now played for two different clubs this season - the maximum allowed under Fifa rules in a single campaign.
It therefore means that any lingering hopes Celtic, Rangers or any other potential suitors had of landing him are now officially OVER.
Beck was involved in the build-up for Liverpool's final goal in a convincing 4-0 win on the south coast.
