When it comes to football management, former Leeds and Argentina and current Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa knows a thing or two.

Indeed some of his words of wisdom have stuck in Carlos Corberan's mind when it comes to making predictions about Brandon Thomas-Asaante.

Corberan worked with Bielsa during his time at Leeds and when asked how many goals he thinks his top scorer might amass by the end of the season, the Spaniard invoked his mentor's name.

And Corberan's insightful answer shone a light on the wealth of experience he has amassed already in his career.

"Bielsa told me one thing that I can never forget: Everyone likes to talk about the future, not everyone is ready to talk about the past," he explained.

"Normally we say things about the future. It is free to talk about the future but to talk about the past you need to analyse well the past.

"I don't know how many goals he will score. If you ask me whether I am happy with him and what he has done so far I am very happy with him.

"He is a very good player and I see a massive improvement from him from the last year to this year and I want that improvement to be the base from this year until the end of the season.

"I like to work with him and if he doesn't lose his mentality he will do it but I don't know what will happen in the future."
