Celtic star David Turnbull holds talks with English Championship club

CARDIFF CITY are interested in signing David Turnbull from Celtic, according to a report.
The English Championship club have reportedly made contact over a transfer deal and talks are currently ongoing.
The Hoops midfielder is out of contract in the summer and has yet sign a new deal to extend his stay at Parkhead.
And now he is attracting interest, with the Bluebirds tracking him this month.
That's according to Sky Sports - who claim the midfielder is currently holding talks with Erol Bulut's side.
It's unclear if Cardiff are plotting a January bid or if they're speaking to the player over a summer move for when his Celtic contract ends.

He has been on Cardiff's radar for several years as he was targeted by the Welsh club before he joined the Hoops in 2020.
The former Motherwell star looked set to head down south when Norwich City were leading the race for him in 2019, but the Bluebirds were also interested at the time.
Turnbull then returned to Fir Park before signing for Celtic on a four-year deal.
Now he looks set to depart Parkhead and could be joined by one of team-mates in Glasgow as Cardiff are closing in on the signing of Nat Phillips from Liverpool.

The defender spent the first half of the season on loan at Celtic before he returned to Anfield this month following a disappointing spell in Glasgow.
The defender is closing in on a move to Wales and he could be set to work with Turnbull again if the midfielder also heads to Cardiff before the window closes.
Brendan Rodgers gave an update on the Scotland star's contract when he was quizzed on his current deal last month.
He said: “If a player doesn’t want to sign then he doesn’t want to sign.
“I won’t lose sleep over it. There were talks back in the summer and I’m not sure how far they’ve gone but clearly they’ve not gone as well as David or maybe his representative have wanted.
“Either way, he’s at that stage of his contract where he can choose what he wants to do and decide whether his prospects are better elsewhere.
"But while he’s here and committed, working and running he’ll always be a valuable asset."
