Toby Sibbick sees Hearts transfer exit offer rejected as Fleetwood Town fail to in bid for star
The versatile start is still an important part of Steven Naismith's plans and League One interest has not proven tempting enough.
Hearts have knocked back an approach from Fleetwood Town for Toby Sibbick.
The defender has been in and out of the Jambos side of late but has still made 21 appearances this season. Record Sport understands Sibbick is still an important part of Steven Naismith’s plans and is happy in the capital. Fleetwood boss Charlie Adam had eyed a move for the former Barnsley stopper as he looks to drag the Cod Army off the bottom of the table.
Forest Green Rovers had also made contact with the Jambos regarding a move for the 24-year-old. But with 18 months still to run on his contract Hearts say Sibbick is not for sale as they look to strengthen their grip on third spot and mount a challenge for the Scottish Cup. Hearts sealed a deal for Scott Fraser on loan from Charlton on Wednesday ahead of deadline day.
