Josip Juranovic got Celtic fans in a tizz with a nod and a wink to Joe Hart - and has been flooded by comments begging him 'please come home.'

The right-back left Parkhead for Union Berlin a little over a year ago but it seems he's been a close eye on comings and goings at his old club. He was allowed to leave in a £7.5m deal after Alistair Johnston had been signed as his replacement for a fraction of that fee, and he's played 34 times since joining the Bundesliga side. When Celtic posted a picture of Hart at full stretch against St Mirren, though, Juranovic showed he still has his finger on the Celtic pulse, commenting: "My goalkeeper!!!'

It didn't avoid the attention of punters for long as the replies were soon full of Celtic fans trying to catch his eye. One wrote: 'Wanty come back mate?' while others chimed in with similar sentiments, ranging from the sincere 'please come home x' to the more bluntly demanding 'up the road pal.'

Juranovic played 53 times in total for Celtic and has established himself as a key figure for Union. But he's struggled with injuries this season as his side have fallen away from surprise Champions League qualifiers last season to battling relegation this term.
