Chelsea supporters aired a new chant during their 3-1 win at Crystal Palace on Monday evening.
One goal down at half-time against the Eagles, there was a delay to the start of the second period due to referee Michael Oliver needing to fix his communication device for conversations with VAR officials. While the technical error was being fixed, Bob Marley's famous 'Three Little Birds' was played on the Palace PA system to the delight of those within Selhurst Park. Both sets of supporters began to join in singing this song, which perhaps has an apt message for the Mauricio Pochettino reign.
After securing a comeback victory, the travelling away fans celebrated their three points by belting out further renditions of 'Three Little Birds' lyrics with the word 'Chelsea' thrown into the mix at the end of each chorus to change things up. They sang: "Don't worry about a thing... Cause every little thing is gonna be alright!"
This result will have come as a major relief to Pochettino, who has come under increasing pressure in recent weeks due to the club's inconsistent performances and poor run of results. Highlighting the value of this win, the Argentine said post-match: "I think so [we deserved it] on the second half. First-half, no. First-half, we were so disappointed. The performance wasn't great. We were so slow and we were so flat and very disappointed.
"We all feel very disappointed with the first 45 minutes but in the second half, we started the game how we should start from the first minute. But in the end, I think we deserved the victory.
"We need to be more consistent, we need to start the game in a different way. We need to try and be consistent and to play and perform always in the way how we performed against Aston Villa.

"Of course, it's not easy but that is the challenge. But yes, very pleased in the end because we needed the three points and now to prepare for the next week against Manchester City. That is going to be a good test for us before we prepare the final. We are going to prepare in a really good way [for] the game."
