The summer of 2024 is going to be a very important one for Tottenham as they look to build on Ange Postecoglou's impressive start to life in N17. Following a whole host of changes in the capital last summer, Spurs are riding high in the Premier League table and are in a very good position to achieve Champions League qualification.
Previously mentioning that it would take a couple of transfer windows for him to turn Spurs into the club he wants it to be, what Tottenham do in the transfer market could prove decisive to their future plans. Come the summer, the Lilywhites will have decisions to make over 12 players who are out of contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the following year.
Rather than lose players for nothing, the time could be right to cash in on some of them in order to further boost Postecoglou's transfer kitty. So who are the 12 players and what could the future hold for them? football.london takes a look below.
Fraser Forster
Signed in the summer of 2022, Forster has proved to be a very good second-choice goalkeeper for Tottenham. However, the time will probably be right to look for a younger deputy for Guglielmo Vicario come the end of the Forster's contract in 2025 as he will be 37 years of age.

Alfie Whiteman
Currently fourth-choice goalkeeper behind Vicario, Forster and Brandon Austin, it's extremely hard to see where Whiteman adds to his solitary Tottenham appearance. The 25-year-old has very little senior football to his name and the time will come for him to move on and get his career up and running elsewhere.
If that isn't to be this summer, Whiteman will need to look at moving on once his current contract expires because he's unfortunately not going to get the regular football he wants at Tottenham unless things drastically turn in his favour.
Japhet Tanganga
After a nightmare loan spell with Augsburg in the first part of the campaign, Tanganga is now playing his football in the Championship with Millwall. This summer seems like the ideal time for both parties to go their separate ways so the defender can feature regularly for a new team.
Tottenham will be hoping that permanent offers come their way on the back of his Millwall loan spell or else they run the risk of not getting a penny for him as he will be out of contract in 2025.
Joe Rodon
There should be plenty of interested clubs in Rodon come the summer after an outstanding loan spell with Leeds United this campaign. A rock at the back for the West Yorkshire club, the Wales international has played a major role in Leeds riding high towards the top of the Championship.
Leeds will undoubtedly want to make his move permanent, although that becoming a reality may all depend on if they're playing in the Premier League next season or not. One way or another, Rodon should be featuring in England's top flight next term and Tottenham will receive a decent fee for the ex-Swansea City man in return.
Ben Davies
Davies will mark a decade in the capital this summer after making the move from Swansea City back in 2014. Down the Spurs pecking order under Postecoglou but still playing a decent amount of minutes for the club this campaign, the Australian could quite easily choose to extend the Welshman's current contract in N17 by another year or two.
However, the time could be right for Davies to move on elsewhere come the end of his contract if he's not getting the minutes he requires in north London. Whatever happens with Davies come the summer of 2025, he's served the club extremely well during his time in the capital.
Sergio Reguilon
Now at Brentford after his Manchester United loan was cut short, the Spaniard has made an excellent start to his time with the Bees. Someone Tottenham need to part with on a permanent basis in the summer given he is not in Postecoglou's plans and they can bring in a decent fee for him, his form at Brentford could prove crucial to his situation ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Continue to go from strength to strength at the Gtech Community Stadium and offers should be there on the table for Tottenham.
Ryan Sessegnon
The time is probably right for Sessegnon to join another club this summer rather than see out his Tottenham contract. Restricted to only one appearance so far this season with injury hitting him hard once again, the ex-Fulham man just needs luck to be on his side for once as he bids to get his career back on track.
Just not going to get a regular opportunity at Tottenham with Destiny Udogie performing so well, the summer of 2024 could be when Sessegnon waves goodbye to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Seeing his minutes drastically reduced this season, Hojbjerg has continued to play a key role for Tottenham in a number of games when he has been introduced from the bench. Linked with a transfer exit in each of the past two transfer windows, the summer may be when the Dane finally moves on for a new challenge.
Hojbjerg will himself believe he should be playing more and that could result in a Tottenham exit as he won't want a bit-part role again come 2024/25.
Tanguy Ndombele
Tottenham are going to have another challenge on their hands in terms of parting with Ndombele on a permanent basis. Not able to do so in the past two summer transfer markets, the Frenchman is hardly pulling up any trees during his loan spell with Galatasaray and it would be quite the shock if they wanted to make his move permanent given his lack of minutes.
Tottenham will be hoping to sell the ex-Lyon man this summer or else it could be the following year when he departs for nothing at the end of his contract.
Giovani Lo Celso
Lo Celso's future may all depend on how the rest of the season pans out for him. Clearly a player Postecoglou likes and someone who can have a role in his side, the Argentine's lack of regular minutes may leave all parties with a big call to make in the summer.
Either Tottenham extend his contract ahead of next season or sell him before the transfer deadline as they can still bring in a good amount of money for the former PSG man.
Son Heung-min
Last signing a deal with the club in July 2021, Son's current contract expires in 2025 but it is believed that Tottenham hold an option to extend his deal by a further year. In essence, that means Son is contracted to the club until 2026 at the earliest.
All will be hoping that fresh terms can be agreed on and he can extend his stay in N17 beyond 2026 as he still has so much more to give the football club. It's a very simple decision when it comes to Son.
Troy Parrott
Parrott is making quite a name for himself in the Eredivisie with Excelsior Rotterdam this campaign. That should mean there are quite a few clubs after his signature in the summer and Tottenham will be able to receive a decent fee for his services.
Continue to excel in Rotterdam and there may even be a situation where Postecoglou wants to take a look at him in pre-season.
