Unai Emery reveals when Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia will return for Aston Villa
Aston Villa news from BirminghamLive as Unai Emery gives update on Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia's recovery from respective ACL injuries
Unai Emery does not expect Tyrone Mings or Emi Buendia to feature for Aston Villa in the final months of the season after suffering respective ACL injuries back in August.
Mings collapsed in agony before half-time in Villa's 5-1 defeat to Newcastle United at St. James' Park and was in tears as he was taken off on a stretcher. The 30-year-old headed out to the USA for the first part of his recovery last year.
Buendia sustained his ACL injury a few days before Mings during training ahead of the first game of the Premier League season. Both players have made strong progress in their rehabilitation and Emery is hopeful they could return to training before the end of the campaign, but doesn't expect either to be available to play.

"Always they are in our mind," Emery said. "They have spirit and they support us in the training ground.
"I think all the season they are going to be out, but hopefully they can train at the end of the season. Then starting next season being fine to come back like before."
Villa have had terrible luck with injuries this season and lost Ezri Konsa, Boubacar Kamara and Diego Carlos through injury in the last two weeks. All three, plus Jhon Duran, Mings and Buendia will not feature for Villa against Fulham on Saturday.
