Calvin Harris reveals he turned DOWN Euros song offer and says he has plans for TRNSMT if Scotland do the ‘unthinkable’

CALVIN Harris said he will put the Euros final on the big screen during his TRNSMT set if Scotland manage to do the “unthinkable”.
The superstar DJ, 40, is set to bring the Glasgow Green festival to a close on Sunday, July 14 - the same time as the big UEFA final in Germany.
And speaking to Garry Spence on Clyde 1, Harris wants to use the game as his stage visuals if Scotland make it to the final.
Spence said: “Calvin we were talking about this earlier, your TRNSMT set is scheduled to be on at the same time as the Euros final. So on the basis that Scotland are going to do the unthinkable…”
The DJ replied: “I’ll have to put it on the big screen, that will become the visuals.”
Garry adds: “That would be a public holiday level sort of thing, Calvin Harris doing TRNSMT and Scotland in the Euros finals.”

When asked if he has ever been asked to do a footie anthem, Harris said: “I got approached in about 2008 but I don’t think songs like that really work, I’m not really a fan of sports songs.”
But one of Harris’ songs has unexpectedly become a footie anthem with Liverpool fans.
His song One Kiss with Dua Lipa can be heard ringing around Anfield on a matchday.
He added: “When it happens like that, it’s amazing because that’s the last thing you’re expecting from big burly blokes on terraces to be singing a song like that. I love it when it happens accidentally.”
