Musician Harry Styles is a big Manchester United fan and was spotted at Kenilworth Road for Luton Town's clash with the Reds this afternoon.

The 'Harry's House' singer took many by surprise this weekend when he was shown visiting the Sky Sports Super Sunday panel before the game at Luton. The 30-year-old's appearance in Bedfordshire has led many to wonder why he is in attendance.

It turns out Styles is a boyhood United supporter. His love for the Reds blossomed during the Class of '92 era at Old Trafford.

In 2013, the singer attended 'The Class of '92' film premiere at Leicester Square. When asked for his opinion on David Beckham, the then-teenage Styles replied: "Absolutely David is inspiring.

"He’s a legend. This film is amazing because it’s the team I grew up watching."

Following United's most recent Premier League title success under Sir Alex Ferguson, the singer took to Twitter to celebrate the achievement. He posted: "Manchester United. Premier League champions."

During his days with One Direction, Styles' love of football was not as public as some of his bandmates. Louis Tomlinson played for his boyhood team Doncaster Rovers in the Football League Trophy to help raise funds for charity while Niall Horan is a big Derby County supporter.

However, Styles is thought to have worn his favourite replica shirt during practice with the band and has not shied away from his affiliation. As for why he has decided to go to Luton for this afternoon's game, it could be because Kenilworth Road is close to his North London home, where he spends his time when not in the USA.
