Rob Edwards joins Jurgen Klopp hug to tell Liverpool youngster he played with his dad
There was a heartwarming moment following Liverpool's 4-1 win over Luton as Rob Edwards revealed he had played against Reds starlet Jayden Danns' dad
Rob Edwards gate-crashed Jurgen Klopp’s post-match hug with Jayden Danns to reveal he had played against the youngster’s dad.
The 18-year-old striker came off the bench during Liverpool's 4-1 win over Edwards’ Luton side and had a hand on the fourth goal, scored by Harvey Elliott. Following his maiden senior appearance for the club, Klopp congratulated the youngster after the final whistle with a big hug.
After spotting the pair together, Edwards decided to intervene, telling Klopp that he had played against Danns’ father, Neil. The German laughed at the heart-warming revelation as the Liverpool celebrations continued.
