We explain to the players why, as all players want more minutes. I'm always interested in data, the last match we played was in special circumstances with the weather.

"I see now in the data they are the team 3rd in ranking of most goals scored. It shows we have to defend as a team really well.

"I have confidence in this squad and the young guys who come to train with us. Every training is now really competitive, it's really pleasing to see in the four months together every member of the squad has raised their level - not only physically."

Meanwhile, Cyriel Dessers acknowledged his tumultuous start to life at Ibrox but admits his red-hot goalscoring streak has changed his relationship with supporters.
