Turnbull situation explained
Erol Bulut said he wants David Turnbull to get up to speed and on the same wavelength as his Cardiff team-mates before he becomes a regular starter.
Turnbull has started just twice since moving from Celtic on transfer deadline day, but has had to make do with a handful of minutes off the bench in Cardiff's last three outings.
And, ahead of tomorrow's Severnside derby with Bristol City, Bulut has said the Scotland international will see his minutes ramped up in the coming weeks.
"David is a quality player," Bulut said. "But I have to organise the midfield a little bit. It's not easy. He could have had some starts in games, but I want to use the players who have played together.
"We use him in the first game and in other games. But he will get minutes, for sure, and also in the starting XI, but I tried to adapt him more so he can be in good communication with other midfielders. With Sio (Manolis Siopis), with (Ryan) Wintle, with (Joe) Ralls, Rubin (Colwill).
"He is now in a good way. He has quality we need in the final third, because he has a good technique and a good shot. He can read the game well and we need this for the next few games."

Goutas to hand Bulut summer shopping list
Centre-back Dimitrios Goutas has said he will draw up a list of Turkish transfer targets for Erol Bulut to sign in the summer.
The club hardly went a day without being linked to a player plying their trader in Turkey in the winter transfer window and you can expect that to continue into the summer, providing Bulut signs a contract extension, of course.
And Goutas, who himself was signed after leaving Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor last summer, said he would recommend that players from that league come over and test themselves in the Championship - and even with Cardiff City.
"Of course! In Turkey, they have many quality players. They give big salaries so they bring quality players. I have many players in my mind who could come here!" Goutas said.
Asked about the summer, Goutas added: "I will give my thoughts."
Colwill must up goal output
Erol Bulut has said Rubin Colwill must now start to post better goal numbers after the Wales international's surge in form.
There is no doubting that Colwill is enjoying a positive patch, maybe even his best sustained period of form in his so far fledgling career.
However, Cardiff need that attacking output to ratchet up in order for him to add some real value to go alongside his positive form. And Bulut believes that comes from both confidence and heeding advice from coaching staff.
"For a player in his position, these things, goals, being more direct to the goal, assists, he needs," Bulut said of his playmaker, 21. "Still, sometimes he has to think much quicker and make quicker decisions. Shoot, pass, changing direction.
"He has to work a little bit more, but he is in a good way.
"Experience is important, but he will take this experience from the last games. I have spoken with him many times about watching his last game, what he did and what he can do much better in the games.
"He is getting advice from us, the coaches, about what he can do better and what we are expecting from him. He has to manage this. He is now 21 and must now push to get those numbers and those goals." Sign up to our Cardiff City daily newsletter here.
Kane Wilson's role in getting Ebou Adams to Derby
Derby County's Kane Wilson explained how he helped to get Ebou Adams to join Derby County in January.
The Bluebirds midfielder was on the periphery at Cardiff and it felt like he needed a move away to reignite his career following a year off through injury.
And he found that with the Rams, where he has enjoyed a positive start to life in League One. He has also linked up with his former Forest Green Rovers team-mate Wilson at Pride Park.
Speaking about his friend, Wilson said: "“I said to the gaffer that we should definitely get him here.
“He also played with Curtis Nelson and Collo [James Collins] a little bit at Cardiff City, but we were really close at Forest Green and have been friends ever since. I’m glad he’s settled in so well because he’s such a good guy and deserves it.”
