After Saturday's 2-0 win over Everton, Manchester United have an outside chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League as the Premier League enters the final weeks of the season.
Erik Ten Hag's side, who needed penalties from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford to down the Toffees, sit sixth in the Premier League and eight points off fourth-placed Aston Villa.
United aren't in action until Sunday when they host Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup at Old Trafford but despite the break in play, there is plenty of news concerning the Reds.
MEN Sport has taken a look at the talking points surrounding Old Trafford below.

Sheikh Jassim takeover claim
Qatari businessman Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al Thani withdrew his offer to buy Manchester United because he was "conscious of overpaying for the club" - according to the co-founder of Raine Group, the bank that oversaw the sale process.
Jassim was one of the leading candidates to purchase the club from the Glazers after the Americans announced in November 2022 that they would be "commencing a process to explore strategic alternatives". It was presumed to be the start of a slow exit plan from Old Trafford for United's owners.
However, in late 2023 it was Ineos CEO Ratcliffe who eventually struck a deal and acquired a minority stake in United after Jassim withdrew from the bidding process just weeks earlier. As a result, the motivations of the Qatari business were questioned, with sections of the Old Trafford fanbase questioning whether Jassim had actually provided proof of funds for a potential purchase of the 20-time English champions.
But in an interview with The Times, Joe Ravitch, the co-founder of Raine - who were appointed to supervise the sales process, Jassim was "very real" in his intention to buy United and tabled "very serious bids" to make an outright.
MEN Sport says: It is interesting to hear Joe Ravitch admit that Sheikh Jassim was worried about potentially overpaying for Manchester United, when the opportunity to purchase one of the leading institutions in English, European and World football can safely be described as once-in-a-lifetime.
Although it is early days, United fans will certainly have no regrets with Sir Jim Ratcliffe swooping in to acquire a minority stake in the club at the expense of Jassim. Ratcliffe appears to be hellbent on tackling the issues that have stopped United from challenging the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool in recent years.
United have already poached Omar Berrada from City and are keen on striking a deal for Newcastle United's Dan Ashworth as Ratcliffe aims to lead the Reds into a new, hopefully successful, era.
Forward drops transfer hint?
Amad Diallo appears to have deactivated his Instagram account - just hours after removing all references to Manchester United from his profile.
The 21-year-old, who made the move from Atalanta in 2021 for £37m, has struggled for game time at Old Trafford this term despite enjoying a scintillating campaign on loan at Sunderland in the 2022/23 season.
Diallo has made just three appearances for United this season and on Monday evening deleted all photos and mentions of United on his Instagram account, leaving just a handful of images from his time at the Stadium of Light visible.
However, just hours later, Diallo completely deleted his account, leaving many fans wondering if he could soon be looking for an exit from Old Trafford.
But he appeared to quash those rumours almost as quickly as he started them later on, sharing an update on his Snapchat, where he wrote: I deactivated my social media for a month just to focus on Ramadan, it's a holy month for me and social media is a place where there are bad things to see during fasting. Stop the hatred, there's nothing wrong with that I did."

What MEN Sport says: However this ends, it is sad that a player of Diallo's talents has not been given greater opportunities by Ten Hag this term, especially given how poor United's efforts have been in the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup.
If we take the youngster at his word then he appears eager to remain focused and work hard - and that can only be good for United. Wherever Diallo finds himself plying his trade next season, his future is bright. That's for sure.
